Title: Vegan All In All

Author: Susana Cabaço, & Dimitar Dimitrov

Genre: Non-fiction/Food and Drink

Vegan All In All is no ordinary book about veganism. It is something different, and genuinely added to my knowledge and appreciation of the vegan lifestyle. The author is gifted at not only explaining the various facets of veganism in a clear and concise way, but also in making the information accessible in a non-judgemental manner that is inclusive to anyone who has even a passing interest in switching to a vegan diet.

I say “lifestyle,” because what this enlightening book emphasises is that there is so much more to going vegan than simply changing your diet (although the mechanics of that, along with detailed information regarding nutrition, vitamins, and dietary suggestions to replace meat and dairy, are also covered in detail). Being vegan has a spiritual element to it, and this change in mindset is a significant consequence of altering your diet.

Animal welfare issues, as well as the environmental consequences of ditching meat and dairy are explored in a balanced way, as well as more specific topics – such as stories from significant people throughout history who have benefitted from adopting a vegan lifestyle.

This is a well-rounded, reader-friendly book, which answers all your questions and concerns around going vegan, but also explores the spiritual benefits of going vegan. Reading this book was an enlightening experience, and I’d recommend it not only to anyone who is interested in switching to veganism, but to those who care about the environment, or want to find ways to access their spiritual being in a more profound and meaningful way.

This is definitely the best book I’ve ever read about veganism and I’m looking forward to reading more of Susana Cabaço’s books in future. Highly recommended!

You can buy Vegan All in All from various places including Amazon where it also available on Kindle Vegan All In All: Everything You Need to Know About Veganism eBook : Cabaço, Susana, Dimitrov, Dimitar: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store

This sounds so interesting. I eat a vegan diet and care (worry!) about the environment. But I would like to know more about the spiritual aspects of veganism.

    Hello Ada!

This sounds terrific. I hope it encourages some to stop eating animals, veganism aside.

Just stopping eating meat is a huge step.

I am 99.5% vegan. I will have some pizza once in a blue moon, had whipping cream at Thanksgiving.

I bake without eggs, or butter. Sunflower oil on my toast.

Not eating animals it the best thing I did for me in my life: health wise, intellectually speaking and spiritually feeling.

Thank you Susana Cabaço, & Dimitar Dimitrov for the book.

Thank you Ada for the review!

Hi Resa! Thanks very much. Lovely of you to drop by. Yes, I’m sure that Susana and Dimitar’s book will appeal to anyone, really (even vegans who are already meat-free will still find insightful information in this book). I guess that’s why I liked it. And yes, I know what you mean (about the pizza and whipping cream!). There is a lot of information about alternative sources of vitamins as well, which was very helpful, as not all suggestions in other books of this kind are always so helpful. Thanks for the kind comments!

What a nice review. I’m excited to try the recipes:) I was vegan during my yoga teacher training year. My family ate the recipes that I made from Angela Litton from Oh She Glows and The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone. I love to find the best vegan recipes and incorporate them into lifestyle for variety.

Thanks, Robin! And there are certainly some wonderful recipes over on Robin&Willow for vegans to try (I love the seasonal ones, by the way). Yes, I do enjoy incorporating vegan recipes as well, especially when there are plenty of fresh vegetables available to add into meals. Thanks so much for dropping by!

Absolutely great review – and isn’t the author a fellow WP blogger? 🙂
I could definitely use a book like this, especially since my diet now requires changes (to vegetarian + fish, not vegan, but we’ll see what time brings), and I could use some spiritual insights behind the diet 🙂
Great work that sparks interest! 🙂

Thanks so much! Yes, Susana Cabaco is indeed a fellow WP author, and her book is honestly just as inspiring as her blog! What I like about it is it’s non-judgmental tone and the fact that there’s so much more to being vegan than just changing your diet (it’s a spiritual journey and transcendence as well). Like you, I’m not vegan, but also require some changes to my diet, so I enjoyed learning about meat alternatives and how to make up for lost vitamins, etc. Thanks for stopping by! 😊💜
